Free Song Download – “Fissure”

Hello all,

First off, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for to those who have taken the time to check out my music, download my first free samplepack, and follow me on Twitter. I really appreciate the support.

As a token of my appreciation and in the interest of generating some more buzz for the site, I am giving away a high-quality MP3 of my song “Fissure”.

I wrote this track a few years ago. It showcases my experimentation with software packages like Native Instruments Reaktor and other DSP environments in combination with bass-heavy synths and aggressive drum programming. I hope you like it!

I have also finally set up an official Facebook page for my composition and sound design services. Please ‘like’ the new page and check it out every once in a while for updates.

Don’t forget to look at the previous post for information on and a link to the free sample pack.

Thanks!

Hello all, and welcome to my new site!

I am a sound designer, music composer, audio editor and mix engineer based out of Portland, Oregon. Since graduating from the Berklee College of Music I have been applying my love for music production, cutting-edge sound design technologies and all things audio to projects in film, television, game, web, radio and other markets.

I also write and perform dubstep and drum ‘n bass music with my production group TRIAGE. Please check us out on Soundcloud, Facebook, and Twitter.

This site contains my professional resume, audio clips of my music and a ‘reel’ compilation of work I have done for picture (from editing to sound design). I will also continually update this blog with news about my projects, articles that I think other audio enthusiasts should read and other stuff.

To start things off, I am releasing a small, public domain, royalty-free sample pack. It contains 17 sounds in 24bit 48khz .WAV format. The sounds have an underlying sci-fi theme – lots of granular resynthesis, heavy processing and sharp, detailed textures are on display.

These sounds are free for you to use in commercial and non-commercial projects however you see fit (except for re-selling them as part of a different sample library, of course). If you use them, you aren’t obligated to give me credit. However, I am eager to connect with as many media professionals as possible, so if you do find these samples useful, PLEASE let me know!

I am interested in providing original music, unique sound design and engineering services for your next film, television, web or interactive project. Please with any inquiries.

Thank you for visiting!
